Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale ’The Ice Maiden’, The Fairy’s Kiss is a one-act ballet composed by Igor Stravinsky in 1928. Scottish Ballet brought new life to the production in Autumn 2017 to mark the 25th anniversary of the death of its choreographer, Sir Kenneth MacMillan. It toured the UK to wide acclaim, including Scottish Ballet’s debut performance at the Royal Opera House, London, as part of Kenneth MacMillan: A National Celebration. The performance was filmed at The Festival Theatre, Edinburgh
