Coventry and Birmingham, Midlands. Begins with shots of an engineer in his studio working on full scale drawings for a new automobile. Nice shots of him working on the design. High angle panning shot of the drawing office. “The Saw Mills start to buzz“ - dolly shot of interior of carpentry work being done. Various shots of the men using lathes and other tools. We then see the “coach builders“ at work on the chassis of the cars. We then see work in the foundry. Molten metal is poured into moulds. Various shots of the men at work. Giant presses are seen in operation. Assembly lines are seen. Men construct various parts of the car engine. Engines are tested. Intertitle describes how noisy this area of the factory is. Men push parts of the engine through the workshops. Final stage of car construction is shown, pieces are fitted together.
