Artist: The Real Tuesday Weld Song: Heaven Can't Wait Album: I, Lucifer (OST) Label: Dreamy Records & PIAS Records Year: 2002 Genre: Electronic, Lounge Style: Future Jazz, Downtempo, Neofolk Originally inspired by a dream of Greek bandleader Al Bowlly and actress Tuesday Weld, Stephen Coates found his inspiration to create music unafraid to be lush and fabulous and willing to tickle the ear with textures and timbres. Many talented collaborators and friends join Stephen Coates in the studio and on stage: Clive Painter, Jacques Van Rhijn, Jed Woodhouse, David Guez, Don Brosnan, Brian Lee, Pinkie McClure, Pam Berry, Martine Roberts, Martyn Jacques, Mara Carlyle, David Piper, Cibelle to name a few. I, Lucifer is the third studio album by The Real Tuesday Weld and was released in 2003. It was intended as a companion soundtrack to the novel I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan. At least four different versions of the album exist - the first incarnation on Dreamy Records, the second on PIAS recordings in Europe and the third on Six Degrees in the US. A picture-disc vinyl release accompanied the 2004 PIAS re-release of the album. Additionally, the entire album was newly remixed for its U.S. release in 2004. It was awarded album of the week in the UK Times and Telegraph and has generally been critically lauded.
