Warped Train Tracks That Carry Freight | Jason Asselin

VISIT MY ETSY STORE, SEE WHAT I HAVE FOR SALE: Update Nov 2012, all of these tracks were fixed - Over the last few years these train tracks have gotten much worse, all over the country it seems train tracks are being forgotten about. I had to make this video to document exactly how bad. This (Active) rail is located in East Kingsford, Michigan near the Menominee River. The minor burn spot on the trestle can be fixed, but when the train derails into the Menominee River... Almost every train contains logs, I can only imagine what would happen if a train went in from the Michigan side of the river. There is a very narrow part of the river just down stream, it is 35 feet deep and empties out into a small lake, just above a huge dam. If the logs and cars wash down, the dam could be busted.. On the other hand, if the rail cars and logs jam up at the bridge and block the water.. Many acres of land will flood up river, when THAT breaks.. Lets just hope this gets fixed real soon before we have to deal with the real thing.. East Kingsford, Michigan
