In recent months I’ve discussed the majority of the 12 Tas Tepeler sites of Pre-Pottery Neolithic Turkey, sites dated to between 10-12,000 years ago, with the major centres of course being Gobekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe, both of which are truly breathtaking ancient wonders of the world. Taşlı Tepe is the Tas Tepeler site located furthest to the north and even though very little is written about it, it’s a place that will become well known very soon. That’s because Turkish authorities are excavating each of the 12 Tas Tepeler sites and all of which will bring forth new discoveries that will continue to re-write history in the coming years. As I’ll explain later in this video, Taşlı Tepe is a very important site and already, with only minor land surveys and excavation, some very important and unique discoveries have been made.
