On Tuesday morning, a video was leaked showing presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former President Donald Trump speaking together on a phone call. The two presidential candidates discussed the vaccine schedule for infants and the shooting of Trump on Saturday. In the video, which was first released in a now-deleted post from RFK’s son, Trump candidly tells Kennedy, “[President Biden] called me, and he said, ‘How did you choose to move to the right?’” Trump may be referring to the way he slightly turned his head before the shooter fired, preventing the bullet from doing worse damage. Trump then explains that “I was just showing a chart – I didn’t have to tell him the chart was on all the people pouring into our country – but I just turned my head to show the chart.” Shortly after the leak, Kennedy apologized to Trump publicly in a post on X. He explained that he “was taping with an in-house videographer. I should have ordered the videographer to stop recording immediately.”
