There is a stir in Austria: the trial of former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, once the youngest foreign minister in the world (received the post at 27 years old) and chancellor in Austrian history (31 years old), has begun. Prosecutors are charging Kurtz with perjury for allegedly lying by not admitting his role in appointing his proxy to the board of directors of a state-owned investment company. Kurtz himself denies everything. The process attracted enormous attention; more than 100 journalists gathered in the hall. The ex-chancellor faces up to 3 years in prison Источник: Global News (EU, USA)
