This hand has Class 3 fingers - three actuated tendons with passive elastic extensor arranged with two tendons at the knuckle and the distal two finger joints torsionally coupled for actuation by a single tendon. Real human fingers are Class 5 as they have five tendons and an intricate tendenous extensor mechanism. In this video all the knuckle motors are driven by the same commands to give the simplest kind of co-ordinated action.
