RON KASINO ABOUT THE SONG: “In my most recent trip to Ghana, I had the pleasure to visit the Cape Coast Castle which is a castle that was used to transport Africans to America in the 18th century. The title of the song 40 acres has a lot of different meanings, I would leave it up to the listener to decipher what it means to them. Keep in mind there were 40 slave castles built in Ghana around that time. As well as 40 acres of land promised to the ones that made it here to the United States as reparations.
