Following PM Modi's visit, New Delhi announced plans to expand trade with Russia. International Energy Agency data shows that India imported 1,800% more crude oil last year than in 2021. Meanwhile, South Africa's petroleum minister stated his nation is not ashamed to import Russian gas.
