Serious Sam “The Build Engine Encounter“ Total Conversion for eduke32 (Duke Nukem 3D) Second test of the first map I'm working on for this mod. Map created in mapster32 r10312-c126d1ea3. This map is almost done (I need to fix a few little things but nothing very problematic). So, it is still “work in progress“. But what is the progress on this project? Here is a list of things not done yet : - Tiles, animation and code of a final boss (Ugh Zan 3 ? or another one ? I don't know yet) ; - Flamethrower need to be improve. It seems more like a fire ball shooter than a true destructive flamethrower... - Laser projectiles x and y starting point (from the Lasergun) need to be improve ; - Minigun, SBC Cannon, Raptor sniper and Serious Bomb to code ; - I didn't work yet on the inventory (serious damage, serious speed, ....) - I need to fix the reload animation of the double colt that disappear ; - I plan, if I have time, to create croteam “big heads“ actor - Beside this map, I have 3 maps on the way that need lots of work (the longer thing to do !). - Music (and code the switch between peace music and battle music if possible) - Change menu fonts and loading screen - Code NETRISCA (depending on my skills) - a few minor bugs to fix and improve some blood and particles I already code. ---------------- Serious Sam TFE and TSE (classic and HD) are games developped by Croteam Duke Nukem 3D 1.5 is a game developped by 3D Realms (World Tour by Gearbox Software) ---------------- Using eDuke32 r10312-c126d1ea3 (Built Jun 9 2023 14:52:36, GCC , 64-bit) to work on this mod. eDuke32 is created by community leader Richard “TerminX“ Gobeille and a team of “elite ninja programmers“ including Pierre-Loup “Plagman“ Griffais, Philipp “Helixhorned“ Kutin, and Evan “Hendricks266“ Ramos (based on work by Todd Replogle/Ken Silverman/Jonathon Fowler/Matt Saettler). ---------------- Big thanks to eduke32 community (Discord Duke4 server) for all the things you learn me : Dan G (and huge thank you for the Spawner CON edit and the time spent to answer all questions I asked), Mc84, Sangman, Flamin_weenie, Mblackwell, etc...)
