The folklore Ensemble Besedi (“Conversations“) was organized in 1987. Its members are the students of the Timiryazev Agricultural University Moscow. A major part of its repertoire presents original folklore of the diverse regions of Russia. The costumes have been designed as per outline sketches of the director of the Ensemble and represent a stylization of the folk costumes from the Middle Russian region.
