We've made a couple of these apocalyptic paths in the past, but this one incorporates techniques that I hadn't used before. While creating this scene, my first idea was to distribute some points and instance cylinders or elongated cubes, with random rotations, but they all had their own issues and weren't looking exactly like what I was looking for. That's when I came up with this method and I am pretty happy with the results for the scene I had envisioned.
