The new Insta360 Go 2... This tiny new action camera has been getting a lot of rave reviews. So I bought it hoping it maybe a good option to mount on lightweight FPV quads, buuuuuut then I tested it... :( It is not a terrible camera, but I do get terrible results for FPV. I mounted it on three different quads, in a multitude of different ways, but I had jello issues every single time. Handheld it is great. Great stabilisation, pretty good image quality, lightweight and easy to use. Just don't buy it for FPV unless you quad has a perfect tune and a amazing vibration dampened mount. I put it side by side with my hero 8 black, in 4k and in 2,7k 50fps. with and without reelsteady, and tested every mode available on the insta 360 go 2. Beta 95X v3 iflight bumblebee iflight DC5 It seems I had some comments are regarding mount method. I did clearly explain that I tried a multitude of mounting ways, but to explain further. Types of mounts I tried. - Vertical in TPU mount, (screwed into plastic base plate) Ho
