Irish musician Shane MacGowan, best known as the frontman of The Pogues, has died at the age of 65. His hits include 1988’s Fairytale of New York and A Pair of Brown Eyes. MacGowan had been unwell for some time and had well-documented problems with drugs and alcohol.
