Here's my first lesson on Youtube. I took tapping ideas from my last Symphony X transcription. Here we have basic root position seventh chord arpeggios going diatonically through the C-major scale. The Mike Romeo part of this is the three note per string idea: Ascending: first two notes are played with hammer-on technique, last one is a tap with the right hand. Descending it's just a tap (right hand) two pull offs. I like having a basic idea and then elaborating on it. So here are the basics on this video. Rest is up to you. The possibilities with this kind of stuff are endless: After you've got this under your fingers, there are also three other inversions and millions of patterns to play with.
