It's time to explore a piece of Europe that is not talked about enough! In this video we will dive in the Uralic World! The name derives from the Ural Mountains, which are Europe's border with Asia. The Uralic languages with the most native speakers are Hungarian, Finnish, and Estonian. These three countries, and Russia, have the most Uralian nations. The Uralic family is categorized into the following groups: The Finnic group notably has Estonians, Finns, Livonians, Karelians, the Veps, Votians and Izhorians (Ingrians). The Permic group has Udmurts and the Komi. The Ugric group has Hungarians, the Khanty and the Mansi. The Samoyedic group has the Nenets, the Enets, Selkups and Nganasans. The Mordvinic group has Erzyas and Mokshas, the Mari group has the Mari people, and last but not least, the Sámi group has the Sámi people.
