Hot-Fire Test of Jettison Motor for Orions Launch Abort System

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Jettison Motor for NASA’s Orion Launch Abort System performed a successful first qualification hot-fire test at the Redstone Test Facility, on 29 October 2018. The Jettison Motor built by Aerojet Rocketdyne is part of the Launch Abort System (LAS), built by Lockheed Martin for NASA’s Orion spacecraft.
