Item title reads - The R 33 ... in early dawn .... takes the air for important tests to supply data for the R-101 now being constructed for first Empire Airship Service. Cardington, Bedford. Bedfordshire. M/S of the R 33 moving along, it hovers above the ground and slowly rises. M/S as it heads towards a mooring mast, is pulled in on a line and attached to the top. L/S of the airship hovering in the sky, various shots as it hovers over the mooring mast and over a building, it moves slowly along. M/S from various angles as it hovers along just above the ground. The title is repeated, M/S of the airship in its shed, the camera pans down it, M/S as a man puts a flag on the back. M/S as the camera pans slowly across the big 'R 33' on the side. L/S from various angles as it hovers above the ground, people walk about underneath. Intertitle - 'After being 5 1/2 hours in the air - (the first airship flight in Britain since R-38 disaster at Hull) she was safely moored at Pulham, Norfolk.' L/S of it
