3D Prism Pyramid | Basic 3D After Effects Tutorial

Hey what's up in this video we'll be creating a basic 3D Prism / Pyramid in After Effects! First we'll be creating the 4 sides and base of the 3d pyramid using shapes - 4 triangles and 1 square. We are using a 1080 square as a guide. After creating all sides, we make it into a 3D object. Then move and rotate them into position to form the pyramid. Next we parent it all to a Null, and we have the our pyramid! From here on you can play around with different effects, stroke and fill. We use the cc radial fast blur to create a light glow effect. Play around with the settings to get something you like. In our next video, we will be making a simple starry petal effect! Quick and easy!
