In 1991, Japan heard the sounds of the Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble, a Korean orchestra that visited the island for the first time. Japan's streets were filled with banners and billboards saying “Welcome, Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble!“. From Tokyo to Sendai and Himeji to Kobe, the ensemble delighted audiences with their music, which ranged from traditional Korean pieces to Japanese popular songs. The documentary shows the band's warm welcome from Japanese audiences and Koreans living in Japan. For educational purposes only. We are NOT a political association. ------
