The first album after a four year break from this US duo. Reducing the synths usage and reinforcing the doom traits, such as the bass lines and slower tempos, they did a slight departure from the last release. Despite that, they still manage to maintain their lofi atmospheric trademark. At times the atmosphere becomes quite dense and filled with repetitive dissonant riffs forcing the listener into a catatonic slumber. There are other parts that are simply filthy and disgusting, still reeking of the sulphurous infernal fumes. Not an easy to digest music, but really well conceived.
