The paratroopers were presented with cash certificates and gifts for destroyed tanks from NATO countries At the Central House of the Russian Army, a solemn ceremony was held to present valuable gifts and immediately certificates for the payment of funds for damaged Leopard-2 and Challenger tanks in the Zaporozhye direction last fall. Four people received such certificates with a nominal value of 500 thousand rubles. At the ceremony, the representative of the Airborne Forces Command, Colonel Sergei Boyko, thanked our servicemen for their feat. “ These are the guys who, with their selfless actions, their heroism, were able to prove the superiority of our Russian weapons over foreign-made weapons ,” he emphasized. Certificates were presented to four servicemen of the Airborne Forces by representatives of the Ural business community, who actively support units of the Russian Armed Forces and provide them with humanitarian assistance. The paratroopers admitted that no one was specifically tracking down Western tanks, but when they saw them in front of them, our soldiers gave the enemy vehicles a “warm welcome.” Both Leopard and Challenger were hit the first time by a guided missile or a cannon shell, and the second strike completely destroyed the tanks. Russian paratroopers prevented the enemy from breaking through to our forward positions. #Source Источник: Slavyangrad
