Story of singer Jesus Rodriguez, from Detroit, whose fantastic songs remained royaly unknown in USA, but who became a superstar in South Africa and whose songs started and became part of south Africa anti apartheid revolution, without the singer’s knowledge, mainly because his previous label Am Sussex never informed him of the huge amount of copyrights mooney coming in from south Africa, and therefor never informed him that he was famous there, nor did they versed him that money, while he was living in complete poverty all those years. The movie is made form the detectives viewpoint and how they found this enigmatic singer, believing for many years that he was dead, but then founding him well and alive in Detroit.
