Soyuz MS-24 cosmonauts have already put on spacesuits and left for the spacecraft. Crowds of people gathered to see off the cosmonauts, who will leave for the ISS today, on the launch pad of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The group included Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, deputy chief of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Centre, commander of the Roscosmos cosmonaut squadron, and American Laurel O’Hara. O’Hara will return to Earth in the spring of 2024 on the Soyuz MS-24, and the mission of Kononenko and Chub will last a year - until September 2024.
