The sound of the late 80's. Well, at least 1987 before Korg dropped the M1 the following year. Anyway, this is an example of a synth that is perfectly usable today. Every patch has that “vibe“ to it that screams D50, yet I hope you hear that you can get some warmth out of it too. Everyone has heard the presets and there are a few on here I think, but mostly sounds I've handpicked. Better pick up a PG-1000; this thing is worse to program than the DX7 in my opinion. I've only modified patches, never made one from scratch for that very reason. With a sea of patches available online, it hardly matters. This was recorded completely dry. Check out my synth duo at:
