Situated on the former RAF Jurby in the north of the Isle of Man, the privately funded Isle of Man Motor Museum was purpose designed and houses over 400 vehicles. Opened in May 2015, it has become a petrolhead’s paradise with something for everyone to enjoy. On May 25th 2018 the Isle of Man Motor Museum opened the Isle of Man TT Museum within its site at Jurby and Clerk of the TT Course and general secretary of the Auto-Cycle Union Gary Thompson officially opened the museum. The museum team are increasing the number of motorcycles on display from 200 to almost 400 through the creation of a Wall of Bikes and other new displays. TT memorabilia will be displayed throughout the museum, on the walls and in specially designed display cabinets. A replica of an iconic marshals hut from the mountain section has also been created to pay tribute to the marshals that enable the event to go ahead.
