LISZT’s Hungarian Coronation Mass was written in 1867. It was composed for the coronation of Franz Josef I, emperor of Austria and his wife, empress Elisabeth (Sissi) as king and queen of Hungary. The mass is written for orchestra, four soloists, choir and organ and consists in a: 1. Kyrie 2. Gloria 3. Graduale 4. Credo (only choir and organ) 5. Offertorium (only orchestra) 6. Sanctus 7. Benedictus 8. Agnus Dei
