The Home Secretary made the speech in Washington D.C, criticising the 70-year-old U.N. Refugee Convention and claiming that “uncontrolled and illegal migration” also poses “obvious threats to public safety and national security.” She started her speech by saying: “Uncontrolled immigration, inadequate integration, and a misguided dogma of multiculturalism have proven a toxic combination for Europe over the last few decades”.
