Meet Hans, a farmer based in Switzerland. Together with the Conversation District and the Swiss Fawn Rescue Association, they use thermal drones to rescue baby deer from a gruesome death. Every year, several thousand fawns are accidentally killed by agricultural grass mowers. The fawns are hidden in tall grass fields and are difficult to spot. Farmers attempt to save them by walking their fields and manually checking with the help of canines; however, this method is time-consuming and misses many fawns. Thanks to thermal drones such as Matrice 30T and Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced, it's not only easier but also faster to spot hidden fawns.
