There must be some truth to the proverb “the condemned live longer”, because after more than a decade the German industrial rockers JESUS ON EXTASY are back from a prolonged hiatus - with new music and more motivation than ever. “The long break was necessary to help me realize who I am, what I want and how I want to continue walking the path as JoE in the future,” singer & founder Dorian Deveraux explains. And this future shines bright in the darkness: “Our music’s gonna be harder, uncompromising and most importantly more authentic.” It was in early 2020 of all years when the two founders Dorian and Chai Deveraux decided to revive the Band, but - like with so many other musicians - the seemingly never-ending pandemic threw a couple of wrenches into their machines.
