Have you ever looked up at the stars and thought, that's cool I wonder if I can do this in Unity? Well have no fear this three-part tutorial has you covered. This second part focuses on taking the real-world star data we loaded in the first episode and creating awesome looking stars. We initially create the stars as sphere's to enable you to quickly visualise all the hard work we put into reading the data correctly in part 1. We then iterate on this moving to a quad with a custom shader to give us great looking stars. The key aspects of this episode are creating GameObjects with the CreatePrimitive method, and a simple unlit shader to create a great looking star.
