A London Symphony (Lento) : Ralph Vaughan Williams

A revised version of a presentation I uploaded about six months back, featuring the slow movement of RVW's London Symphony, set against a sequence of photographs and paintings of the city, made at the time Vaughan Williams would have been working on his symphony. In the earlier version of this film, I used the wonderful performance by Sir John Barbirolli; for this version I have used Sir Mark Elder's version. Both are performed by the Halle Orchestra.
