But despite the horrific loss of life there’s no need for a ceasefire, according to former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In her view, that would only give H@m@s the chance to re-arm during the conflict with Israel. It’s a position shared by the US and UK who’ve vetoed calls for a pause in fighting at the UN. Clinton made the remarks during a guest speech at America’s Baker Institute think tank. But her complete disregard for the humanitarian catastrophe that’s unfolding shouldn’t surprise you.
