Aired: 3rd March 1989 on BBC TWO. I got hold of an HD crystal clear copy of this so I could upload up onto YouTube. There Is a version of this on youtube already but it's very poor quality. I thought that it would be incredibly important for everybody to see this lost documentary about the tragic life of David Scarboro. Simon if you see this, hope you're doing ok these days and just remember a lot of us still talk about David today. My Brother David is a documentary that told the story of David Scarboro's mental health worsening as a result of the UK tabloid newspapers (The Sun, The Mirror and News of the World). Summary: David Scarboro - who played Mark Fowler in EastEnders - fell to his death at Beachy Head in April last year. SIMON, his younger brother, presents this tribute featuring David's achievements as a young actor as well as his problems - problems made worse by the way the tabloid press harassed him, printing exaggerations and lies.
