Op een middag tijdens mijn verlof toog ik Amsterdam in om de stad vast te leggen voor Nederlanders in het Verre Oosten. Dit is wat ik zag: Leidseplein, Dam, mini golf in Vondelpark, Amstelveld, Albert Cuyp market, draaiorgel, het Y. Beelden warden gebruikt in de film ’Bloed, zweet en tranen’. I took this during my leave in summer 1955 to show to Dutchmen in Japan who hadn’t seen their home country in years. .
