I naively enter Wapping mine alone and without a guide to try and get up through to the old royal Cumberland cavern show cave and former mine. After weeks of research, studying videos and maps. I thought the journey would be fairly straightforward but this video just goes to show that even with preparation mistakes can be made and things can go wrong very quickly. For anyone who is thinking of entering this mine: You should NEVER enter abandoned mines alone, ALWAYS thoroughly research your destination, and ALWAYS alert a third party of your plans and timings, which I did do... The best advice I can give is to go with a trained guide that knows the mine or just STAY OUT & STAY ALIVE. I feel that I was very lucky in this instance, only by chance and utter luck was I able to find my way back out of what's known as the maze of wapping mine, the one place I knew I needed to and wanted to avoid entering...
