He studied playing the guitar at Kemerovo Children's Music School (guitar class of Nikolai Furmanov) and at Novosibirsk Music College named after A.F. Murov (class of Yuri Kuzin). Sergey joined the class of Professor Nikolai Komolyatov at Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in 2017. Then he continued his studies with Artem Dervoyed till 2021. He is a prize-winner of more than 40 regional, national and international guitar competitions, including the Christopher Parkening International Competition in Malibu (2019, USA), the Guitar Competition in Miami (2022, USA), Miguel Llobet Competition in Barcelona (2020, Spain), MARTINEZ in Iserlohn (2021, Germany), Michele Pittaluga International Guitar Competiton in Alessandria (2021, Italy). The musician prefers European romantic music, arrangements of Russian melodies, and modern music pieces. His repertoire also includes his own piano music adaptations. You can often hear improvisations at his concerts.
