On the very first day of the full-scale invasion, veterans of the renowned Azov spontaneously formed a volunteer unit. Soon they traversed the most intense battlegrounds of the war, defending Bakhmut, breaking through to the besieged Mariupol, fighting for Kyiv, and liberating Kherson.
