Текст с Bandcamp’a: “I took a trip to your home town There were hundreds of people all around I parked my bag at the Double Tree and I took off up Monroe. A warm spring day and I felt alright The fog had lifted overnight I met some kids dressed as butterflies heading south in a parade They said, “I don’t think she lives here anymore She packed her bags with her Mom and Dad and left for another shore But we’ll be sure to tell her that you came If she comes to Tallahassee again“ I bought some food and sat on a bench In a little park called something in French And with two hundred other folks I watched the parade go by Went west along Park Avenue Looking for anyone who knew of you And at the information booth a girl gave me some beads She said, “I don’t think ….................“ A man in an old blue uniform Was talking about the civil war When he got to the battle of Natural Bridge I took off west again Bought a beer at Duval Street Still asking everyone I meet If they knew the woman from this town that I was looking for They all said, …............ My trip here was not a waste It was from the start a wild goose chase I know you better now I’ve seen the town where you were born I’ve walked down streets you might have been Seen people and things you might have seen We can park our bags at the Double Tree when I see you again. I know that you don’t live here anymore You packed your bag with your Mom and Dad and landed on my shore But everyone will tell you that I came If you come to Tallahassee again. from Trout and Toolbox, released November 12, 2016 Ray Smith - Vocals, Acoustic Guitar Tamas Smith - Semi Acoustic Bass Emma Woolcock - Violin“
