We received a call for help about a dog that had been here for 2 was thrown into a street corner where few people passed by. She trembled, suffered and missed her owner who abandoned her: -11 degrees, she was frozen, unable to move. No words can describe the pain she endured. There must be many people like her in this cold weather. They were abandoned and never found. My tears kept falling. We quickly took her to the vet. Her body temperature was an alarming 32.9 degrees. The doctor was trying to restore her body temperature. She miraculously endured the cold nights. That shows incredible resilience and determination to survive. Day 5, the weather was a lot warmer.
