Cutting an aquarium in half is not the best of ideas but it's a lot of fun. You can always DIY a something interesting out of the wreckage, and in this case I went on a journey of restoration and built an ecosystem. There's something about shallow fish tanks that appeals to a lot of people, and I thought my desktop was just the right place to appreciate mine (so that my fish can judge my every move while I edit videos about them). Follow along as the fish tank develops the natural way; with no filter, and no co2 injection. Happy to answer questions in the comments :) Chapters: 0:00 - Preview 0:18 - Breaking the glass 1:53 - Laying the riverbed 6:06 - Bolstering the flora 7:12 - Sculpting the overgrowth 8:04 - Nanofish meets microfauna 9:06 - Expanding the population 11:01 - The Desktop Ecosystem 13:41 - Colourful results The pump I used in this video: The heater I used in this video: Music: Lift Motif - Kevin MacLeod ¹ Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy - Kevin MacLeod ¹ Ambiment - Kevin MacLeod ¹ Love - C418 ² This Song Is Not Good - C418 ² Garden - RuneScape Long Songs Are For People Who Don't Have Time to Make Them Short - C418 ² ¹ () ² ()
