Mi-8 crews perform firing and missile launches at training ground in Orenburg region Mi-8 helicopter crews of the Russian Defence Ministry’s Military Transport Aviation carried out exercises on the use of air-to-ground munitions in Orenburg region. During combat sorties, helicopter crews carried out strikes on the ground individually and as part of pairs at the Totsky airfield. During the sorties, the pilots practised launching S-8 unguided missiles, bombing, as well as firing using the UPK-23-250 universal cannon container with double-barreled GSh-23L cannons.
