US Marines operating an MV-22 Osprey depart RAF Mildenhall for the USS Mesa Verde sailing in UK waters. They had visited the Royal Air Force base in Suffolk, England, where other aircraft of the same type are based. Watch the USS Mesa Verde entering port at His Majesty's Naval Base Devonport in Plymouth: The US Marine Corps operate the MV-22 Osprey from various ships at sea, including the USS Mesa Verde with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit. It's a tilt-rotor aircraft capable of vertical take off and horizontal flight. The US Air Force also operate the same type; the CV-22 Osprey for Special Operation Forces based at RAF MIldenhall in Suffolk, England. You can see various air force variants in this video.
