Occurred on May 6, 2022 / Axbridge, Somerset, UK Video of my miracle spinning cat. Sylvie was diagnosed with a heart murmur and heart disease at a very young age. At 1-year-old, I was told she was she was going down hill very quickly as she could barely walk due to her breathlessness, and I was advised to have her put to sleep. I took her to an animal hospital for a second opinion, where she had a scan and was told she did not have heart disease at all! She was in fact suffering from a severe diaphragmatic hernia. Her internals organs were all in her chest cavity and her intestines wrapped tightly around her heart and lungs. Thankfully, the wonderful surgeons were able to reposition her organs and sew up her diaphragm. The improvement was fantastic, but she was still unable to play due to her lungs being very underdeveloped.
