This is clearer and more extended footage than in my previous uploads of Anna Pavlova performing her solo 'La Nuit'. The choreography, Andrew Foster tells me, was by Nikolai Legat, originally as a pas de deux. Pavlova changed it to a solo piece. A YT friend, Markie Polo, kindly let me know that the music was not from Anton Rubenstein's 9th Symphony but was in fact his Romance in E-flat Major op. 44. I’d taken my original identification of the music from Margot Fonteyn who introduced this footage in her documentary ‘The Magic of Dance’. But you can see that it is in fact Rubenstein's 'Romance' from Isaac Stern's playing of the piece: Enjoy!
