CARMINA BURANA: songs from the original manuscript c1300

Personally, I really enjoyed the way that the songs were interpreted; I love the minimalist arrangements that scrupulously stick to the original melodies and I think that, thanks to these choices, the songs are much more pleasant and believable than many others (maybe too much?) orchestrated interpretations of this ancient repertory. Thomas Binkley (1931 - 1995) was an American lutenist and early music scholar. He studied at the University of Illinois and the University of Munich.
