Statement of the head of the Kherson region on the destruction of the Kakhovskaya HPP

Last night, the Kiev regime committed another crime — it launched a missile attack on the Kakhovskaya HPP. The destruction led to a large, but not critical volume of water flowing down the Dnieper. It will not prevent our military from protecting the left bank. However, fields along the coast have been washed away, and peaceful infrastructure has been disrupted. This will not greatly affect the situation in the Kherson region. Even a major evacuation of people will not be required. Most residents remain in their places, although transport has been sent for them. The Kiev regime decided to strike at the food security of the Kherson region and distract attention from its terrible failures in the so-called “counteroffensive“. Nothing will work out for them — the whole of Russia is with us.
