Train fire brigade. Part of issue RAIL, ROAD AND SEA. Horwich, Greater Manchester. Various shots of firemen rushing to a fire. Instead of getting into a road fire engine the men get on board a steam train. The train chugs off down a track with firemen in wagons and driver's cabin. At the scene of the fire, we see them unwinding hoses that are attached to a water tank behind the train's engines. We see the hoses in use. Looks like demonstration for benefit of cameras - no flames or smoke can be seen. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
