AMENRA “De Kroone“ -live ritual 2019 This was the first time AMENRA played an early version of what was to become “De Doorn“ - in Menen, West Flanders, Belgium - October 2019. That night we all gathered and burned all our unacknowledged loss accompanied by the music especially written for the occasion. A ritual by way of fire, revealing the 20 feet high bronze statue by sculptor Johan Tahon. It arose from the flames and ashes of what once was: glowing red, a new symbol of hope. Sincere gratitude to all who helped us that night: Chiel Vandenberghe, Bartholomeus Resch, René Lanzinger, Maarten Kinet, Lionel Arlen, Steve Lammertyn, Tom Claus, Gert Masschelein, Johan Tahon and more Sound by Hein Devos & Tim De Gieter lights by Frederik Heerinckx/Blackbox design & 2FD filmed by Fabrice Parent, Andi Weimann, Anton Coene, and Aeroplay Films /Drones produced by Jens Vranckx & Spookstad
